RNA Vaccines Coming for Shrimp ViAqua is using RNA interference (RNAi) particles, provided as a feed supplement, to manipulate gene expression in shrimp, one of the most widely consumed forms of seafood worldwide. In a 2022 proof of concept study that used a polyanhydride nanoparticle delivery platform to deliver RNA to shrimp orally, it’s stated:3 "RNA interference (RNAi) in invertebrates is an antiviral cellular mechanism by which a trigger, such as double-stranded RNA (dsRNA) or small interfering RNA (siRNA) starts sequence-specific degradation of target mRNA, thereby preventing viral gene expression. … In aquaculture systems, the concept of RNAi-based vaccines has been championed for several reasons: (a) RNAi works as an antiviral immune response in shrimp; (b) it is pathogen-specific; and (c) it generates a long-term protective immune response." The study found that the "nanovaccine" was about 80% effective in protecting against WSSV in shrimp, when administered via reverse gavage to "mimic an oral route."4 ViAqua has brought the potential for oral delivery to the next level, with plans to begin producing its RNAi capsule products in India in 2024.5 Shai Ufaz, ViAqua’s chief executive officer, stated:6 "Oral delivery is the holy grail of aquaculture health development due to both the impossibility of vaccinating individual shrimp and its ability to substantially bring down the operational costs of disease management while improving outcomes … We are excited to bring this technology to market to address the need for affordable disease solutions in aquaculture." Can Shrimp Be Vaccinated? Shrimp lack an adaptive immune system, the type that "remembers" exposures to infectious agents so it can mount a better response the next time it comes around. Because of this, it’s long been assumed that shrimp cannot be vaccinated. According to the Global Seafood Alliance:7 "Scientific literature on shrimp has often adopted terms and approaches from mammalian immunology, but not always in a correct way. These two properties are not recognized in the immune systems of shrimp and other invertebrates." They don’t want you to know that they’re using mRNA and similar products, because then they'd have to admit that the resulting foods may have gene-altering effects. And it’s not just pork, either. Cattle Groups Urge Caution Over mRNA The first RNA-based livestock vaccine, a swine influenza (H3N2) RNA shot developed by Harrisvaccines was licensed in 2012.15 The company followed up with an avian influenza mRNA shot in 2015.16 Concerns that mRNA injections could end up "in the global protein supply chain" also prompted warnings from cattle producers and calls for mandatory country of origin labeling (MCOOL) so consumers can choose meat from countries that don’t allow mRNA shots in meat animals.17 In an April 2023 news release, Ranchers-Cattlemen Action Legal Fund United Stockgrowers of America (R-CALF USA), a nonprofit that represents interests of independent U.S. cattle producers, shared concerns about the use of mRNA shots in cattle and other meat animals. Max Thornsberry, DVM, R-CALF’s animal health committee chair, met with medial doctors and a molecular biologist before briefing the R-CALF USA board:18 "Thornsberry reported that some researchers have found that mRNA and its coded virus is likely passed from an injected human to a noninjected human, and to humans who have consumed dairy products or meat from an mRNA-injected animal. He said that because the research on mRNA is still in its infancy, no one really knows the full impact it has on either humans or animals, particularly its long-term impact. He said this itself warrants more extensive mRNA research focused on safety, heightened public vigilance, and greater transparency." In a commentary, R-CALF CEO Bill Bullard also urged caution regarding mRNA injections, stating:19 "It’s not a vaccine as we typically understand vaccines. So, for the rest of this discussion, I’ll refer to it as an injection. It’s an injection of a laboratory-produced substance into humans or livestock that is coded with a particular virus, such as COVID-19, that produces an immune response against the particular virus. And what does mRNA do? Well, it hijacks living cells, tricking them into producing some level of immunity against human viruses like COVID-19 and livestock viruses such as foot-and-mouth disease or lumpy skin disease. It does this by rewriting the instructions from the body’s DNA. And what are the potential risks to humans and livestock? The truthful answer is we don’t yet know the long-term effects of mRNA injections in either humans or livestock. … There is great concern that living cells excrete the mRNA over time and the mRNA can then be transferred to animals and humans that have never received the mRNA injection. It is believed, for example, that humans can contact mRNA by eating meat from livestock that have received the injection. The reason mRNA is an issue today is that pharmaceutical firms have found that it takes very little of it to hijack a cell, and it can be produced cheaper than typical virus vaccines." Is it possible that mRNA or RNAi nanoparticles could persist in the meat and shrimp you’re eating? Penny Riggs, associate research professor of functional genetics at Texas A&M, stated, "The estimate is that half of the mRNA from a vaccine is gone in about 20 hours, and completely destroyed within a few days."20 However, Thornsberry cited21 one study, published in Biomedicines, that found mRNA from injections can be detected in blood 15 days post-shot.22 The proof-of-concept study for the shrimp RNA nanovaccine also found the particles persisted long after administration: "The nanoparticles localized to tissue target replication sites for WSSV and persisted through 28 days post-administration."23 Again, the consequences of consuming these nanoparticles remains to be seen. Antibiotic Resistance Widespread in Shrimp Farm-raised seafood is among the most contaminated foods you can eat, shrimp included. Antibiotics are commonly used on farmed shrimp in an attempt to slow down pathogens.24 Not surprisingly, shrimp is often contaminated with antibiotic-resistant bacteria as a result. One investigation by CBC News Marketplace found 17% — nine of the 51 packages of shrimp imported from Vietnam, Thailand, China, India and Ecuador — were contaminated with antibiotic-resistant bacteria.25 Among them, all but one showed resistance to multiple antibiotics. Investigators purchased imported shrimp labeled "organic" as well as some with the "Best Aquaculture Practices" certification, which maintains that farmers only use antibiotics minimally. So, while shrimp can be a healthy addition to your diet, it’s important to avoid farm-raised shrimp, which is the type served in most restaurants and the variety that’s slated to receive a gene-altering nanoparticle vaccine in its feed. Graphene Oxide can carry biological or chemical weapons as payloads In the scientific paper quoted above, the payload was aspirin plus a common cancer drug. However, payloads can be almost anything of sufficiently small size, including both hydrophilic and hydrophobic molecules. From the study, "We have also demonstrated how hydrophilic (ASP) and hydrophobic drugs (DOX) can be delivered by using a single delivery platform." This means that potent chemical weapons -- theoretically including nerve agents that are fatal at nanograms of exposure -- could be loaded into graphene oxide molecules which are surreptitiously delivered into the body via aggressively propagandized medical interventions such as fake vaccines or covid swabs. Theoretically, such weapons might be able to be delivered to the population via food vectors as well. Once in the body, a small amount of payload leakage may generate some level of nerve damage among inoculated victims, but the real payload delivery won't happen until a proper 5G signal is broadcast across the inoculated population, using the "release frequency" that generates the required voltage to unleash the payload. Millions of blood cells are replaced each day as they live out their lifespans. The lifespan for red blood cells is around 120 days. There are more than 10 different kinds of blood cells, each performing its own set of tasks. Though red and white blood cells may end up in different places in the body, after we are born production of blood cells starts in the bone marrow. Bone marrow makes more than 220 billion new blood cells every day. Haematopoiesis (adj. haematopoietic) is the medical term used to describe the process by which our blood cells are formed, develop and mature into their final “adult” types. The process begins with a haematopoietic stem cell (“HSC”), which then goes through a series of steps to arrive at the final product – a mature blood cell. A mature blood cell would be a red blood cell, a white blood cell such as a lymphocyte, or some other type of blood cell. Lymphoblast cells are immature white blood cells that develop into healthy immune cells called lymphocytes. In leukaemia patients, for example, lymphoblasts don’t mature. Instead, they multiply rapidly in the bone marrow and interfere with blood cell production. In a 2020 Nature Biomedical Engineering study, researchers used a type of genetic therapy, known as RNA interference, and nanoparticles modified in such a way that they would accumulate in the cells found in the bone marrow, rather than in the liver. These particles could be tailored to help treat heart disease or to boost the yield of stem cells in patients who need stem cell transplants, Penn Engineering Today wrote. RNA interference is a gene therapy that could potentially be used to “treat a variety of diseases” by delivering short strands of RNA that block specific genes from being turned on in a cell. Using this gene therapy technique with specialised nanoparticles, researchers from Penn Engineering and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (“MIT”) developed a way to turn off specific genes in cells of bone marrow. “RNA nanoparticles are currently FDA-approved as a liver-targeted therapy but hold promise for many diseases, ranging from covid-19 vaccines to drugs that can permanently repair disease genes,” said Daniel Anderson, one of the authors of the study. “We believe that engineering nanoparticles to deliver RNA to different types of cells and organs in the body is key to reaching the broadest potential of genetic therapy.” “If we could develop technologies that could control cellular activity in bone marrow and the hematopoietic stem cell niche, it could be transformative for disease applications,” said Michael Mitchell, one of the study’s lead authors. As the dosage of Pfizer’s injection increased, the growth of stem cells was inhibited. The researchers found that as the dosage of Pfizer’s mRNA increased, so the production of spike protein production rose dramatically and this rise appears to be exponential, i.e., the rate of increase becomes quicker and quicker. The effect was that the spike protein drastically decreased the expression of several globin genes in bone marrow stem cells. The study authors concluded: “SARS-CoV-2 S-protein, covid-19 mRNA vaccines and SARS-CoV-2 infection might have dramatic effects of the hematopoietic compartment.” And that there was a “need of great attention on possible alteration of hematopoietic parameters following SARS-CoV-2 infection and/or covid-19 vaccination.” In other words, the spike protein might have dramatic effects on and alter our bodies’ ability to produce mature blood cells. Dr. Makis summarised the key points from Study 1 as follows: * Pfizer’s covid-19 mRNA injection accumulates in the bone marrow and can inhibit the growth and suppress the differentiation of bone marrow stem cells. * Pfizer’s spike protein can drastically alter gene expression in stem cells. * Pfizer’s spike protein can increase the expression of pro-inflammatory genes. * Spike protein production in bone marrow stem cells increases dramatically with increasing mRNA dose (looks exponential). * Authors conclude: “Pfizer spike protein might have dramatic effects on the hematopoietic compartment.” Study 2 In an NIH-funded study published in July, the authors injected lipid nanoparticles containing mRNA and delivered them to bone marrow stem cells where they conducted gene editing and “bone marrow transplantation.” The researchers developed two payloads: one that edited a mutation for sickle cell disease, and another that selectively killed hematopoietic stem cells (“HSCs”). The researchers designed the lipid nanoparticles to target HSCs using an antibody that binds to a protein found on these cells’ surfaces. After confirming that the nanoparticles were breaking through into about half of the blood cells, they loaded the antibody-coated nanoparticles with an mRNA encoding a protein that induces cell death. Although the nanoparticles killed HSCs, the researchers discovered some off-target effects, so they added tiny bits of non-coding RNA that kept the protein from killing other cells. In another experiment, the researchers stuffed their nanoparticles with an mRNA sequence that produces a gene editor when it enters the cell. The editor targets a mutation in haemoglobin causing sickle cell disease. The researchers tested the gene-editing nanoparticles on cells grown from samples taken from people with the disease. Reversing the mutation resulted in more than 95% of blood cells taking on a typical round shape rather than the sickle-like appearance characteristic of the disease. The researchers are working on fine-tuning the approach and testing it further in animals to get a better understanding of how efficiently it edits intended genes and how well it targets HSCs. The study is “an impressive advance,” said David R. Liu, a chemist and gene editing expert at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. Though many steps remain before clinical testing, he said, the approach “could lay a foundation for the much broader availability of programmable therapeutic gene editing to treat a variety of genetic blood disorders” Study 3 The authors of a study published in January wrote: “Messenger RNAs (mRNAs) present great potential as therapeutics for the treatment and prevention of a wide range of human pathologies, allowing for protein replacement, vaccination, cancer therapy, and genomic engineering … Lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) have emerged as a very promising delivery method. However, when intravenously delivering LNPs, most of the cargo is trapped by the liver.” Modifying the composition of the lipids in LNPs allows for the more specific delivery of the LNPs to some organs. Dr. Makis highlighted some points from the study and added some comments: “To increase the efficacy of mRNA-based vaccines, additional strategies such as self-amplifying mRNA vaccines are being developed.” Self-amplifying mRNA vaccines use an engineered RNA virus genome in which the genes for the antigens of interest are inserted in place of those encoding the virus structural proteins while the genes for the virus RNA replication machinery are kept intact. In contrast to traditional mRNA-based vaccines, self-amplifying mRNA vaccines allow for the intracellular [within a cell] replication of antigen-encoding RNA, resulting in a higher level of antigen production that enhances vaccine efficacy. Self-amplifying mRNA vaccines show some difficulties compared with mRNA vaccines. We strongly oppose the harmful and unrealistic net-zero [carbon dioxide] CO2 policy proposed for 2050. Go for adaptation instead of mitigation; adaptation works whatever the causes are," the document signed by Nobel prize recipients John F. Clauser from the U.S. and Ivar Giaever from Norway/U.S. and the others emphasized. They also note that climate science should be less political, while climate policies should be more scientific. According to them, scientists should openly address uncertainties and exaggerations in the predictions of global warming, while politicians should dispassionately count the real costs as well as the imagined benefits of their policy measures. The proclamation also pointed out that Earth is undergoing cold and warm phases and they are natural phenomena and the gap between the real and modeled world tells us that we are far from understanding climate change. "The geological archive reveals that Earth's climate has varied as long as the planet has existed, with natural cold and warm phases. The Little Ice Age ended as recently as 1850. It's not only the public that is ill-informed about what the science says about climate," he said, detailing how the government and UN press releases do not accurately reflect the reports themselves. "Distinguished climate experts (including report authors themselves) are embarrassed by some media portrayals of the science," he further stated. During an "Uncommon Knowledge" interview with Peter Robinson, Koonin revealed that his colleagues' reactions to his book were that he should not be telling the public or the politicians the truth about climate change. "I was taught that you tell the whole truth [as a scientist]. And you let the politicians make the value judgments and the cost-effectiveness trade-offs and so on," Koonin said. He noted as well the immorality of asking the developing world to cut down emissions when so many do not even have access to electricity and the immorality of scaring the younger generations: 84 percent of American teenagers believe, as of January 2022, that if climate change is not addressed, "it will be too late for future generations, making some part of the planet unlivable."
